A deadly disease like cancer is currently plaguing the entire planet. Amidst this, Russia has made a major announcement regarding a solution to this disease. Russia claims to have created an mRNA vaccine to prevent cancer. According to officials, the vaccine will be launch in early 2025 and will be given free to patients.
Andrei Kaprin, the head of the Ministry of Health’s Radiology Medical Research Center, told official media that this vaccine can prove to be a milestone in the treatment of cancer. During pre-clinical trials, vaccine was observed that it is effective in preventing tumor growth and spread of cancer.
How the Vaccine Works
This innovative vaccine is designed to activate the immune system, enabling it to recognize and attack cancer cells. Additionally, some versions of the vaccine will target viruses linked to cancer, preventing their growth from the outset. It is even claimed to eliminate early-stage cancers, sparking hope for a major breakthrough in oncology.
What Is An mRNA Vaccine?
mRNA or messenger-RNA vaccines use specific parts of the infectious agent like its protein, sugar, or coating. The vaccine instructs our cells to produce a protein or even just a piece of a protein which are similar to the infectious agent. The protein then triggers an immune response inside our bodies and fight the actual disease.
Vaccine will be made faster with AI
Vaccine expert says that with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the process of making personalized cancer vaccine can be completed in just 30 minutes to an hour. At present, this process is long and complex because mathematics is used in it.
