Water Cut in Navi Mumbai on March 28 For Urgent Repairs

Date:

Residents of Navi Mumbai are advised to brace for a water supply shutdown on Friday, March 28, due to urgent pipeline repairs. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and CIDCO will carry out maintenance work on the Morbe main pipeline at Belapur, leading to a temporary water outage across several areas.

The affected regions include Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe, Sanpada, Kopar Khairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli under NMMC, along with Kamothe and Kharghar under CIDCO. The water supply will be completely halted from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Friday.

According to NMMC’s Water Supply Department, normal supply is expected to resume on Saturday, March 29, but with low pressure. Residents are urged to store water in advance and use it judiciously during this period.
