MILAN/BENGALURU: Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette launched the X-47 Venom in Europe at EICMA 2026 in Milan on Tuesday. The company said the launch makes it the first Indian company to retail electric motorcycles in Europe.

The X-47 Venom is the first motorcycle built on Ultraviolette’s new VX-100 Architecture, a 100V platform that the company also introduced at the show. Ultraviolette also unveiled the Tesseract Maxi Scooter for Europe for the first time and showcased AI-enabled helmet concepts.

The company said the new products combine intelligent engineering, lightweight construction and advanced safety technologies. It added that it is India’s only electric two-wheeler maker presenting a full portfolio of advanced mobility products at EICMA, spanning performance electric vehicles, connected systems and rider technologies.

Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and co-founder of Ultraviolette, said, “The F77 marked our first step in bringing Ultraviolette’s performance, design and technology to riders in Europe. With the launch of the X-47 Venom, we are expanding our global portfolio and catering to a new segment of riders. The X-47 Venom combines the versatility of a Crossover with advanced radar technology and integrated cameras, bringing performance and intelligent rider safety together.”

He added that the Shockwave and Tesseract, which have drawn strong interest in India and abroad, will broaden the company’s range in the near future, and that Ultraviolette will continue to expand its international presence and dealer network.

Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and co-founder, said, “Ultraviolette’s showcase at EICMA reflects the evolution of our technology platforms and the growing maturity of the innovations across battery systems, powertrain engineering, vehicle intelligence, connectivity, software and safety. We remain focused on pushing the boundaries of engineering and leveraging technology to develop products that can compete at the highest global standards.”
