Kalyan Jewellers has launched a new brand campaign, ‘Kalyan Bhava’, which extends the traditional wedding blessing beyond the bride and groom to the families and futures that come together through a marriage.

Traditional blessings such as ‘Sowbhagyawati Bhava’ and ‘Ayushman Bhava’ are meant for the bride or the groom. ‘Kalyan Bhava’, which translates to ‘May all that is good be yours’, is pitched as a wish of prosperity and happiness for everyone joined by the wedding. The tagline also works in the brand’s own name.

The 105-second campaign film features brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan, alongside Sreeleela and Kalyani Priyadarshan. It is directed by Akhil Sathyan, known for Sarvam Maya, and marks the return of filmmaker and cinematographer Rajiv Menon behind the camera after a long gap. The music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran.

Set among ancient ruins overgrown with vegetation deep in a forest, the film follows a young girl who finds a mysterious golden bangle. As a temple bell chimes, Bachchan appears as a mystical guide and asks her to look through the bangle, which reveals a glimpse of her future wedding day, filled with loved ones, music and dance. As the celebrations peak, the bell chimes again and he blesses her, with the music building to a chorus of ‘Kalyan Bhava’.

Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director, Kalyan Jewellers, said, “In our culture, a wedding is as much about heartfelt blessings as it is about celebration. It marks a new beginning for the couple while bringing two families, their traditions, and their shared dreams together. With ‘Kalyan Bhava’, we introduce a larger brand thought – extending the wedding blessing beyond the couple to encompass every relation a marriage forms. Since ‘Kalyan’ inherently signifies auspiciousness and prosperity, ‘Kalyan Bhava’ becomes a natural expression of our purpose: a blessing built directly into our name.”

The film showcases the brand’s Muhurat bridal jewellery collection, featuring natural diamonds and gemstone jewellery. The multi-media campaign will roll out across platforms during the festive and wedding season.
