The Central Railway has announced special trains for the Holi 2025 celebration. During Holi, every year, a lot of people visit their hometowns. To manage the extra rush, the railway has decided to run 28 special trains between Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Madgaon, and Nanded. These special services will provide relief to passengers and ensure a smoother journey.
According to railway officials, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)-Nagpur-CSMT bi-weekly special train will operate eight services. Similarly, the CSMT-Madgaon-CSMT weekly special will run four times, while the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Madgaon-LTT weekly special will also operate four services. Additionally, the LTT-Hazur Sahib Nanded-LTT weekly special, Pune-Nagpur-Pune weekly special, and another Pune-Nagpur-Pune weekly special will each have four trips. Ticket bookings for these trains started on February 24 and can be done online through www.irctc.co.in.
Schedule of Special Trains:
Pune-Nagpur-Pune Weekly Special
- Train No. 01469: Departs from Pune on March 11 and March 18, 2025, at 3:50 PM and reaches Nagpur the next day at 6:30 AM.
- Train No. 01470: Leaves Nagpur on March 12 and March 19, 2025, at 8:00 AM, arriving in Pune at 11:30 PM on the same day.
CSMT-Madgaon-CSMT Weekly Special
- Train No. 01151: Departs from CSMT on March 6 and March 13 at 12:20 AM, reaching Madgaon at 1:30 PM on the same day.
- Train No. 01152: Returns from Madgaon on March 6 and March 13 at 2:15 PM, arriving at CSMT the next day at 3:45 AM.
CSMT-Nagpur-CSMT Weekly Special
- Train No. 02139: Runs on March 9, March 11, March 16, and March 18, departing from CSMT at 12:20 AM and reaching Nagpur at 3:10 PM on the same day.
- Train No. 02140: Returns from Nagpur on the same dates at 8:00 PM, arriving at CSMT the next day at 1:30 PM.
LTT-Madgaon-LTT Weekly Special
- Train No. 01129: Leaves LTT on March 13 and March 20 at 10:15 PM, reaching Madgaon the next day at 10:30 AM.
- Train No. 01130: Departs from Madgaon on March 14 and March 21 at 2:30 PM, arriving at LTT the next day at 4:05 AM.
LTT-Hazur Sahib Nanded-LTT Weekly Special
- Train No. 01105: Runs on March 12 and March 19, leaving LTT at 12:55 AM and reaching Nanded at 9:00 PM the same day.
- Train No. 01106: Returns from Nanded on March 12 and March 19 at 10:30 PM, reaching LTT at 4:05 AM the next day.
