MHADA’s 100-Day Plan: Minister Inspects Progress

Mumbai: Maharashtra’s Minister of State for Housing, Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, visited the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) headquarters at Gruha Nirman Bhavan in Bandra East on February 12, 2025. During his visit, he reviewed a special cleanliness and record classification drive conducted as part of MHADA’s 100-day action plan.

Dr. Bhoyar personally inspected various offices within the headquarters and commended MHADA officials for their efforts in implementing the initiative. He emphasized the need for sustained cleanliness and efficient record management to enhance administrative efficiency and improve services for citizens.

Accompanying Dr. Bhoyar during the visit were MHADA Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Jaiswal (IAS) and Secretary Neelima Dhaigude, among other senior officials. He also assessed the progress of the upcoming Citizen Facilitation Centre and the implementation of the Visitor Management System at the MHADA headquarters.

Speaking on the occasion, Jaiswal highlighted that the state government’s action plan is being swiftly implemented across all MHADA regional offices in Mumbai and Maharashtra. As part of these efforts, a two-day cleanliness and record classification drive was carried out at MHADA. He also noted that the agency’s website is being enhanced with detailed information, and an e-office system has been introduced to promote paperless administration.
