IRCTC is launching a special heritage tour aboard the Bharat Gaurav AC Tourist Train, covering key locations associated with the legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This unique 6-day journey begins on 9th June 2025 and offers travelers a deep dive into Maharashtra’s rich cultural and historical legacy.

  • Raigad Fort – the capital of Shivaji’s kingdom
  • Pune – featuring Lal Mahal, Kasba Ganapati, and Shivsrushti
  • Shivneri Fort – the birthplace of Shivaji Maharaj
  • Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga – a revered Jyotirlinga temple
  • Pratapgarh Fort – the site of the historic battle with Afzal Khan
  • Kolhapur – visit Mahalakshmi Temple and Panhala Fort

Train & Boarding Info:

  • The 05 nights and 06 days tour begins from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai
  • Tourists can also board from Dadar and Thane Railway Station on this Tourist Train
  • Modern Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train with AC Sleeper, AC 3-Tier, and AC 2-Tier coaches with capacity to accommodate a total of 748 passengers.

The package has been attractively priced at Rs. 13,155/- per person in Economy (Sleeper Class), Rs 19,840/- per person in Comfort (3AC) & Rs. 27,365/- per person for Superior (2AC). 5% discount will be given for 1st 100 bookings done directly.

The all-inclusive price in all categories will cover train journey in respective classes, night stay at comfortable hotels, all meals (vegetarian only), all transfer & sight-seeing in buses, travel insurance, services of tour escort etc. All necessary efforts will be made by IRCTC to provide a safe and memorable experience to the guests.
