Panvel: In a bid to enhance citizen services and promote e-Governance, the Panvel Municipal Corporation has launched the “Panvel Connect” app, a one-stop solution for various municipal services. The app was unveiled at a grand event held on April 13 at Lokneta D.B. Patil School, where several key initiatives were also inaugurated.

Chief among the initiatives was the launch of the Panvel Connect app, designed to make communication between the residents and the municipal administration seamless. Through this app, citizens can request services, pay bills, report civic issues, and access local news, all in one place. The app also facilitates emergency services like fire, police, and ambulance, enhancing the city’s response capabilities in critical situations.

Additionally, the Panvel Municipal Corporation has introduced 16 state-of-the-art refuse compactor vehicles for waste collection and transportation, aimed at improving waste management across the city. The vehicles will collect waste from residential and commercial areas and transport it to designated disposal sites in Ghot. This step is part of the corporation’s commitment to keeping Panvel clean and efficient.
