Mumbai– The newly inaugurated ‘Nature Trail Walkway’ in the Malabar Hill area has quickly become a major attraction for residents and tourists alike, with over 3,400 visitors exploring the site during its opening weekend. The path, which was officially opened on Sunday, March 30, 2025, has seen an overwhelming response, with ticket slots for the holiday (March 31, 2025) completely sold out within hours.
The initiative, aimed at promoting eco-tourism while preserving Mumbai’s natural beauty, has already generated substantial revenue, with ticket sales amounting to ₹87,225 from the first two days alone. Local authorities are urging tourists to plan their visits in advance due to the high demand and limited availability of slots.
The Nature Train Walkway, open from 5 AM to 9 PM daily, promises an enriching experience for those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst lush greenery, while emphasizing sustainability and environmental care. In order to prevent overcrowding, only 200 people will be allowed per time slot. Each time slot is for one hour, and entry will only be granted with the barcode generated through online ticket registration. The entry fee is Rs 25 for Indian citizens and Rs 100 for foreign nationals.
