Thane, September 13: A tree branch fell on a parked car in Naupada, Thane, on Sunday morning, causing damage to a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz parked along Ram Maruti Road. The incident took place near Sameer Tower, beside Bedekar Hospital and opposite the Om-Krishna Kutir building.

The tree branch fall in Naupada was reported to authorities at around 9.11 am after the large branch came crashing down directly onto the parked vehicle. The car, a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz bearing registration number MH 05 CM 0477, was parked along the roadside when the incident occurred.

Following the tree branch falling on a parked car in Naupada, personnel from the Thane Disaster Management Cell reached the spot with a pickup vehicle. The Thane Fire Brigade also deployed a fire vehicle to assist in the clearance operation.

The Naupada tree branch incident prompted an immediate response from the emergency teams. Using cutting equipment, personnel cut the fallen branch into smaller sections and carefully removed it from the vehicle and roadside area.

The tree branch fall on Ram Maruti Road was cleared without any further incident. Officials completed the operation after removing the debris from the affected area, restoring movement along the roadside.
