Why Property Owners Need to Complete KYC for Seamless Digital Services, Know Here

Date:

Navi Mumbai: Navi Mumbai Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Kailas Shinde, has urged property owners in the city to complete the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) process to access enhanced digital services offered by the Municipal Corporation. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to make civic services more accessible and efficient through technology.

Dr. Shinde emphasized that the completion of KYC would enable property owners to easily view and pay their property tax bills online, receive important updates and emergency alerts, and stay informed about municipal services through their mobile devices.

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has made strides in offering online services to ease public access to property tax-related information. Once the KYC process is completed, property owners will receive their property tax bills directly through SMS and email, ensuring they are up-to-date with their payments.

“The property tax revenue plays a crucial role in funding civic services, and it is essential for citizens to pay their taxes on time,” Dr. Shinde said. “By completing the KYC process, property owners can ensure they receive timely updates, pay their bills conveniently, and contribute to the development of our city.”

Property owners can complete the KYC by visiting the NMMC website or scanning a provided QR code. The process requires essential details such as property number, mobile number, and email ID, which will allow for seamless communication between the municipal corporation and property owners.

Dr. Shinde’s call comes as part of the city’s broader push to digitize civic processes and make services more accessible, particularly in light of the growing demand for digital solutions in the post-pandemic era.

For further details, property owners are encouraged to visit https://www.nmmc.gov.in and complete the KYC process at their earliest convenience.
