Mumbai: Central Railway has announced a special night block at Badlapur station on the Reversal Line (Platform No. 1) to carry out fencing work aimed at strengthening trespass control and ensuring commuter safety. The block will be in effect from midnight 12 am to 6 am on April 19–20, 2025 (Saturday/Sunday night). After completion of the work, Platform No. 1 at Badlapur will be permanently decommissioned. The existing Home Platform 1A will then be officially renamed as Platform No. 1.

Temporary Changes in Suburban Train Arrivals:
During the block period, two suburban trains will be rerouted to Platform No. 2 at Badlapur instead of the usual Platform No. 1:
Train departing CSMT at 22:42 hrs will reach Badlapur at 00:32 hrs
Train departing CSMT at 23:51 hrs will reach Badlapur at 01:39 hrs
Permanent Platform Change After Block:
Once the block concludes, Platform No. 1 at Badlapur will be permanently decommissioned. The existing Home Platform 1A will then be officially renamed as Platform No. 1.
