A grand “Maha Shivratri Special Home Sadhana” program was organized in Thane by the Antar Yog Foundation under the guidance of Brahmarshi Acharya Upendra Ji Maharaj. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and devotional fervor, drawing participation from more than 1,000 seekers.
Held on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the program in Thane was organized free of cost and was open to all for the first time by the foundation. A large number of participants from Thane and the Mumbai metropolitan region voluntarily attended the spiritual gathering.
The sadhana camp began at 7:00 a.m. and featured a range of spiritual activities aimed at improving health, prosperity, family relationships, academic growth, and overall spiritual development. Participants engaged in meditation, chanting, prayers, and energy-based spiritual practices, sharing that they experienced a deep sense of inner peace and fulfillment.
Traditional rituals such as the Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna and Shivling Abhishek were also performed during the event. A special sadhana session was organized for students to enhance their concentration and academic abilities. Many parents who attended with their children reported experiencing positive energy, improved mental stability, and increased self-confidence.
Several participants shared that through the guided practices, they noticed better stress management, emotional balance, improved sleep quality, and positive changes in their personal relationships. Expressing gratitude to the organizers, many described the program as their first profound spiritual experience.
Addressing the gathering, Brahmarshi Acharya Upendra Ji Maharaj said, “When sadhana is performed correctly and under proper guidance, its results can be experienced here and now. This is true spirituality.”
Reaffirming its commitment to strengthening social well-being, the foundation announced plans to organize similar programs across the country and expressed its resolve to reach three crore (30 million) people through this unique spiritual initiative.
In a brief statement, Acharya Upendra Ji Maharaj added, “If spiritual practice is undertaken with the right guidance and proper method, its impact can be felt immediately. Our goal is to integrate spirituality into everyday life and guide society in a positive direction.”
