Record-Breaking SSC Results for Navi Mumbai Municipal Schools

Navi Mumbai: The secondary schools run by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) have recorded an impressive 94.72% pass percentage in the SSC (Class 10) examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for the academic year 2024-25.

The exams were held from February 21 to March 17, 2025, and saw the participation of 2,698 students from 23 NMMC schools, out of which 2,568 students passed.

Anshika Angad Yadav, a student of NMMC School No. 104 – Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Vidyalaya, Rabale, topped among all municipal school students by securing 95% marks. She was followed by Sahil Yuvraj Jadhav of School No. 118, Pawne, with 94.60%, and Rukayya Gufran Ansari of School No. 121, Kukshet, with 94%.

In a remarkable achievement, three municipal schools — School No. 108 (Digha), School No. 111 (Turbhe Store), and School No. 116 (Sanpada) — achieved a 100% pass result.

NMMC Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde, Additional Commissioner Mr. Sunil Pawar, Deputy Commissioner of Education Mrs. Sanghratna Khillare, and Education Officer Mrs. Aruna Yadav congratulated all successful students and praised the hard work of school principals and teachers. They extended their best wishes for continued success in the future.

To ensure quality results, the NMMC Education Department had provided all 23 schools with 21 sets of model papers. Additional personal guidance was given to students during the Diwali vacation and after school hours. Practice tests were also conducted to boost preparation.

The excellent results are being seen as a reflection of the concerted efforts by the education department, school staff, and the dedication of the students.
