Navi Mumbai: Over 1,000 students from Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) schools have secured scholarships, achieved top ranks in exams, and excelled in various competitions. The civic body recently held a Teacher Recognition Ceremony to honor educators for their dedication and significant role in fostering the academic success and overall development of their students.
NMMC schools have witnessed remarkable success across multiple areas. Students not only scored excellent marks in board exams but also excelled in arts, sports, and academic competitions. One of the major highlights was the recognition of PM Shri Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj NMMC School No. 55 in Katkari Pada, which secured second place in the state’s “Chief Minister My School – Beautiful School” campaign. Moreover, PM Shri Pune Vidyarthi Griha Vidyabhavan Primary Marathi School in Nerul clinched first place in Thane district among private schools.
Additionally, NMMC School No. 42 in Ghansoli, with over 3,300 students, was honored for having the highest enrollment in Maharashtra. Several other schools were recognized for achieving 100% results in the 10th-grade exams, including NMMC Schools No. 118 in Pawane, No. 116 in Sanpada, and No. 122 in Koparkhairane.
The ceremony underscored the importance of teachers in shaping the future of students, celebrating their invaluable contribution to the success of these young achievers.
