CSMT, LTT, Kalyan Junction: Platform Tickets Not Available from April 18 to May 15

Date:

Mumbai: In a bid to control crowding and streamline passenger flow during the peak travel period, Central Railway has announced the temporary suspension of platform ticket sales at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), and Kalyan Junction. This measure will be in effect from April 18 to May 15, 2025.

The decision aims to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for passengers as well as to reduce congestion on station premises. However, the restrictions will not apply to individuals accompanying senior citizens, sick passengers, or small children, who will still be permitted access.

Railway authorities have urged the public to cooperate with these temporary measures to help maintain order and facilitate efficient station management during the busy travel season.
