After enduring a sweltering heatwave last week, Mumbai has seen a slight drop in temperatures, bringing much-needed relief to residents. The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Mumbai has forecasted a maximum temperature of 33°C on Monday, which is lower than Sunday’s high of 34.2°C.
According to the RMC, winds have played a crucial role in easing the heat across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. While Mumbai is expected to have clear skies, partly cloudy conditions may develop in the afternoon and evening.
The Santacruz observatory’s weekly weather report (March 17–22) indicates that Mumbai’s minimum temperature will range between 20°C and 25°C, while the maximum will hover between 32°C and 33°C.
However, Navi Mumbai will remain slightly hotter than Mumbai, with a maximum temperature expected to reach 34°C. The temperature range for Navi Mumbai is projected to be around 33°C (maximum) and 22°C (minimum).
