Navi Mumbai: In a move to ensure hassle-free property tax payments, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced that its tax collection centers will remain open despite public holidays on March 29, 30, and 31, 2025.
With the financial year 2024-25 coming to an end, NMMC Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Kailas Shinde has directed that property tax counters at the municipal headquarters and divisional offices remain operational for the convenience of taxpayers.
*March 29 (Saturday) and March 30 (Sunday) – Gudi Padwa: Counters open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
*March 31 (Monday) – Ramzan Eid & Financial Year-End: Counters open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, while online payments will be accepted until 11:50 PM.
As of March 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM, NMMC has successfully collected ₹725 crore in property tax revenue. The municipal administration urges citizens to clear their dues on time and contribute to Navi Mumbai’s development.
This initiative aims to provide uninterrupted tax payment services and maximize revenue collection before the financial year ends.
