The festival of Ashadhi Ekadashi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion across the city of Mira-Bhayandar. Various locations witnessed the traditional Dindi Yatra processions and devotional programs like bhajans and kirtans. At Abhinav Vidya Mandir School in Bhayandar (East), students enthusiastically participated in a Dindi procession.
For many devotees who are unable to visit Pandharpur, Hemant Sawant and his team have been organizing Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations for the past four years by installing idols of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini on Navghar Road in Bhayandar (East). This year marked the fourth consecutive year of the celebration.Special arrangements were made for devotees to have darshan, and sabudana khichdi was distributed as prasad.
In the evening, devotional programs including bhajans and kirtans were organized. Hemant Sawant shared that the event aims to fulfill the spiritual desires of those who, for various reasons, are unable to travel to Pandharpur, offering them an immersive experience of devotion and divine connection. This celebration created an atmosphere of devotion and unity throughout the city.
