Water Cut Alert: Navi Mumbai Residents Advised to Store Water on March 6

Date:

Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced a 10-hour water supply shutdown on March 6, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance at the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant and the feeder main pipeline from Morbe Dam to Digha.

The maintenance work will take place from 10 AM to 8 PM and affect several areas under NMMC’s jurisdiction, including Belapur, Nerul, Turbhe, Vashi, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli. Additionally, Kamothe and Kharghar, which fall under CIDCO’s administration, will also experience a water cut.

NMMC has assured residents that this work is necessary to maintain the efficiency and reliability of the water supply system. The civic body has apologized for the inconvenience and urged residents to store sufficient water in advance.

Water supply will be restored gradually at low pressure on March 7, 2025.
