Navi Mumbai: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced a new date for the computerized lottery draw of its “My Preferred CIDCO Home” housing scheme. The draw will now take place on February 19, 2025, between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
Previously scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the draw was postponed without any specific reason.
According to CIDCO’s Public Relations Department, the rescheduled lottery coincides with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti and will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. To ensure transparency and accessibility, the draw will be broadcast live via webcasting, allowing citizens to witness it remotely.
Applicants can watch the live webcast on www.cidcohomes.com or check their results by logging into their CIDCO Home account on the website. Additionally, the draw will be streamed at CIDCO Experience Centres, located at:
- Taloja (Kharghar East): Plot No. 14, Sector-37, Taloja Panchanand
- Khandeshwar: Plot No. 1, Sector-28, near Khandeshwar Railway Station
- Kharghar, Panvel (Raigad): Plot No. 63 A, Sector-15
These centers offer citizens a convenient way to witness the moment when 26,000 families move closer to achieving their dream of homeownership.
About the “My Preferred CIDCO Home” Scheme
Launched on October 12, 2024, the scheme offered 26,000 tenements under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low-Income Group (LIG) categories, aligned with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The homes are located in Vashi, Bamandongri, Kharkopar, Kharghar, Taloja, Mansarovar, Khandeshwar, Panvel, and Kalamboli.
One of the scheme’s key features was flexibility, allowing applicants to select up to 15 preferred tenements, making it one of CIDCO’s most adaptable housing initiatives. The scheme received an overwhelming response from homebuyers.
Application and Lottery Status
CIDCO has already published the final list of valid applicants, confirming 21,399 valid applications for the 26,000 available homes. Despite four deadline extensions, CIDCO struggled to receive applications matching the total number of homes. The draft list of applicants who successfully paid the booking amount was published on January 3, 2025, with no changes in the final list.
The lottery draw will now be conducted on February 19, 2025, and results will be available on the official CIDCO website.
