Dombivli witnessed a spectacular display of patriotism on Independence Day as thousands of citizens came together for a grand Tiranga rally featuring a massive 35,000-square-foot national flag stretching approximately 2.25 kilometres. Dombivli Tiranga Rally

The rally was organised by the Dr. Shrikant Shinde Foundation in collaboration with various social organisations and witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens across Dombivli and surrounding areas.

The giant Tricolour, measuring around 2.25 kilometres in length and five feet in width, was carried by citizens along the rally route, creating a striking visual across the streets of Dombivli. Dombivli Tiranga Rally

The event saw participation from approximately 15,000 students, teachers and parents representing more than 50 schools, along with members of over 100 social organisations, NGOs and community groups. Students and citizens carried the national flag and raised patriotic slogans, including chants of Bharat Mata Ki Jai, creating an atmosphere of celebration and national pride.

The initiative was aimed at strengthening the values of patriotism, national pride and national unity among the younger generation. Citizens from different communities, languages and social backgrounds came together to pay tribute to the national flag, reflecting the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.

The massive Tiranga display also drew attention for its scale, with organisers stating that preparations are being undertaken towards seeking world-record recognition for the initiative.

The rally served as a tribute to the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters while conveying a message of unity, integrity and love for the nation. The unprecedented participation turned Dombivli’s Independence Day celebrations into a memorable and visually spectacular patriotic event.
