Date:

Navi Mumbai: Commuters in Airoli are advised to plan their travel in advance as the Rabale Traffic Unit of Navi Mumbai Police has announced temporary night-time road closures at Bharat Bijlee Junction for two consecutive days—April 15 and 16, 2025.

The closure is being enforced to facilitate the launching work of a new Road Over Bridge (ROB), which requires the operation and alignment of heavy cranes near the Fire Brigade building at Prabuddha Chowk.

Road Closure Timings:

Tuesday, April 15: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Wednesday, April 16: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM

During these hours, all types of vehicles will be prohibited from using or parking on the underpass road at Bharat Bijlee Junction.

Suggested Diversions:

For vehicles from Belapur-Thane Road heading to Sectors 1 to 5: Take a left turn at the underpass near Airoli Station.

For vehicles coming from Bharat Bijlee towards Sectors 1 to 5: Use the T-point and take a right turn at Khedekar Chowk.

Traffic police have requested motorists to cooperate with the changes and follow the designated alternative routes. Traffic personnel will be deployed to guide drivers and manage movement during the restricted period.
