The Central Railway will conduct special traffic and power blocks for the launching of a ROB girder (Phase I) at Kasara station on March 8 and 9, 2025.
The first block will take place on March 8 from 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM, affecting both Up and Down North East lines within Kasara station limits. On March 9, two blocks will be implemented: the second from 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM and the third from 4:00 PM to 4:25 PM. These blocks will impact train operations on both Up and Down North East lines.
Due to these blocks, Kasara local (N-11), departing from CSMT at 9:34 AM on March 8 and 9, will be short-terminated at Asangaon. Similarly, Kasara local (N-19), leaving CSMT at 1:10 PM on March 9, will be short-terminated at Kalyan.
The local for CSMT (N-16), scheduled to depart from Kasara at 11:10 AM on March 8 and 9, will short-originate from Asangaon. Likewise, the local for CSMT (N-26), set to leave Kasara at 4:16 PM on March 9, will short-originate from Kalyan.
These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and passenger safety. The Railway Administration requests passengers to bear with the inconvenience caused.
