BMC Water Bill Payment Services to Be Unavailable from April 9 to 15

Date:

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced that all water billing services—including online payments, in-person payments at civic centers, and related facilities—will be completely unavailable from April 9 to April 15 due to a planned system upgrade.

The suspension will begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, and continue until 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 15, as the BMC’s Water Department migrates its existing ‘AQUA’ billing system to a more advanced cloud-based infrastructure.

During this period:

Citizens will not be able to pay water bills online or at municipal offices.

No water billing information will be accessible on the BMC website.

All AQUA-related services will remain suspended across departments.

The BMC stated that the upgrade aims to improve system performance, enhance data security, and ensure smoother services in the future. Officials have appealed to residents for their understanding and cooperation during the temporary disruption.
