Traffic Restrictions in Navi Mumbai for Martin Garrix’s ‘World’s Biggest Holi’ Event

Date:

Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions on March 14, 2025, ahead of the ‘World’s Biggest Holi’ event featuring international DJ Martin Garrix at Dr. D.Y. Patil Stadium, Nerul. The measures aim to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhanced security for attendees, VIPs, and performers.

As per a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Tirupati Kakade, the movement and parking of all heavy goods transport vehicles will be completely restricted within the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate limits from 2:00 PM to midnight on the event day.

However, essential service vehicles—including ambulances, fire brigades, police vehicles, government vehicles, and those transporting essential goods—are exempt from these restrictions. Additionally, vehicles with official event management passes will be permitted access.

The Traffic Police have urged commuters to plan their routes in advance to avoid inconvenience. Additional traffic management measures will be implemented to ensure a smooth experience for event attendees.
