United Facilities, MBSI and Delhi Police Train Women Drivers

Date:

United Facilities and MBSI (a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., Japan) joined forces with the Delhi Traffic Police to empower women through a specialized driver training program.

Launched on International Women’s Day, the initiative aimed to equip women with essential driving skills, road safety awareness, and career opportunities in the mobility sector.

With expert training in traffic regulations, vehicle maintenance, and professional driving techniques, participants gained the confidence to navigate roads independently and pursue employment in the growing transportation industry.

“By empowering women with driving skills, we are fostering safer roads and promoting gender inclusivity in transportation.”

Shri. Satya Vir Katara, Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic Headquarters, Delhi Traffic Police

Upender Singh Anand, Director of United Facilities, emphasized, “This program aligns with our commitment to a skilled and diverse workforce, ensuring safer and more reliable employee transportation services.”

“Through this initiative, we are opening new career paths for women, contributing to a more inclusive mobility ecosystem in India.”

Nakao Hiroshi, CEO and Managing Director of MBSI

MBSI, through its ‘Women Empowerment Project,’ aims to expand such opportunities nationwide, partnering with mobility service providers to drive sustainable and inclusive growth in India’s transportation sector.
