Kalki Koechlin revealed no one was renting me a house after divorce but wanted selfie with me

Kalki Koechlin has made a shocking revelation in which she has said that she was not getting a house after her divorce with Anurag Kashyap. No one wanted to give a house to a single woman. Kalki said people wanted selfies with me but did not want to give me a house.

Bollywood actress Kalki recalled in an interview on AfterHours with All About Eve YouTube channel that how things were difficult for her personally but professionally, things were going really well. She said, “When Anurag and I got divorced, I had two big films Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Kalki further revealed that during this period, “I had to struggle to find a place to live in Mumbai as a single women. She said, “No one was giving me a house on rent.” At that moment, I felt, “I am famous, you want to take selfies with me, but you don’t want to give me a house.”

Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap met in 2008 on the sets of Dev D, which was their first film together. They soon started dating and got married in 2011. However, the couple separated after four years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2015. In 2019, the actress announced her pregnancy with her partner, Israeli musician Guy Hershberg. The couple welcomed their daughter in February 2020.

Kalki was last seen on screen in 2023 in a supporting role in the Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. She also appeared in a special dance number in Sam Bahadur. She will next be seen in Her Story and Nesippaya.
